Dr. and Master Zhi Gang Sha

Born in China and educated at one of China’s foremost medical universities, Dr. and Master Sha is a world-renowned healer, a Tao Grandmaster, creator of Tao Calligraphy, 11-time New York Times best-selling author, and an award-winning spiritual innovator.

Dr. and Master Sha's eminent artistic path commenced in 2011, with his appointment as the sole lineage holder of the Yi Bi Zi calligraphy writing tradition. Yi Bi Zi is an ancient form of one-stroke calligraphy that is created in ‘one single stroke’ - where from beginning to end, the brush never leaves the parchment and the ink flows as one. This form of writing is deeply revered, and Master Sha has received the highest award and recognition a calligrapher can receive in China.

As the 373rd lineage holder of Peng Zu (the Chinese Taoist Master who famously taught Lao Zi - author of the Dao De Ching), Master Sha is a keeper of ancient Tao wisdom that has been kept alive for more than 5000 years. He is also a grandmaster of several ancient Eastern arts (including Tai Chi, Qigong, Kung Fu, I Ching and Feng Shui) and was named Qigong Master of the Year at the Fourth World Congress on Qigong in 2002.

An artist always puts their all into the art that they create. Likewise, Dr. and Master Sha infuses each of the Tao Calligraphies he creates with unique healing properties that he has learned to cultivate through years of spiritual practice and mastery.

Master Sha founded the non-profit organization, Love Peace Harmony Foundation, for which he has received widespread acclaim for his philanthropic services to humanity, including the Martin Luther King, Jr. Commemorative Commission Award in 2006 for promoting world peace.
